First class. We couldn't understand many of the other reviews. Service friendly and courteous. The food came even faster than in the Golden Seagull restaurant. It is definitely worth ordering from the authentic Chinese menu (back part). The pork belly, for example, was fantastic!

Prices were a bit higher, than I am used to, but the food and service was good and a lot. We had wantan soup, Peking soup chicken with mushrooms and black bean sauce and beef kong pau. Tasted really authentic and reminded me on my visits to Hong Kong.

Unfortunately, no fresh food at all, the glutamate can be clearly felt in every dish. The two stars are mainly for the good service. Where the praised authenticity should be is questionable.

What can I say, I love Chinese food (European variant) and this restaurant lives up to expectations. Very friendly and big portions.

We arrived with 6 hungry people and left after about 3 1/2 hours, unfortunately due to the current situation. But we are all very satisfied and full. With several people it is worth ordering a hotpot ... It was a wonderful experience.

We spontaneously visited the Hong Kong restaurant in Freiburg because we were in the area. Unfortunately we can in no way agree with the positive feedback. The condition on the toilets is poor hygienic. After over an hour we received our starter. Of three starters, one was cold (because it was frozen), and another starter came ten minutes later. Ordering drinks was impossible, so we spent the evening with one drink per person. The main courses were okay, but very greasy and tasteless. The service person was not insightful when she was made aware of the problems. In a nutshell: once and never again.

Probably the last authentic Chinese restaurant in Freiburg. In addition to a normal German card, you can also offer a Chinese card with other dishes. Service is good and the quality is absolutely satisfactory. The guests are mixed but a total of many Asians speaks for the authenticity of the restaurant. The prices are fair, drinks rather cheap.

Super rude staff. I strongly recommend you not to visit.

Possibly the best chinese food in Freiburg. Very authentic. Closed on Sundays

It takes sooo long to get the food and the bill. We arrived exactly at the time of our reservation and we sat there and waited ONE HOUR until we finally got what we ordered. They didn't even apologize for the delay. Same happened with the bill, after we had asked already 3 times please to bring it.

As always the taste is excellent the service was a bit slower this time than usual but you have to say it was also very busy ... I can only recommend this restaurant again and again !!

The value for money is just more than good! They have a huge variety of dishes and the portions are really good. Food tastes great! Am thrilled. The only drawback is a long waiting time, but worth it for the food.

more than just slow

Bad food but nice service.

Left 50 minutes after we ordered our food and still had not received it. Other people who ordered after us were already done eating.

Excellent meal and price. We paid 27 euros for 2 people: 2 entrance 2 dishes 3 glasses of wine The servers are very warm and understanding in the face of the language barrier. The dishes were +/- 9 € The glasses of wine were 25 cl and cost € 3 a glass which is a good deal. Our dishes were served abundantly there was a lot to eat and it was very very good. You can take the uneaten leftovers if you want.

The food was good, the portion size was okay. The restaurant is typically furnished, but looks good. You can't say that about the toilets. There was something broken here and a urinal had overflowed. Since the price was not a bargain now, I can unfortunately only give 3 stars.

Probably Freiburg's most authentic Chinese restaurant

A colleague and I came here for lunch on our never ending quest for decent Asian food in Freiburg. The setting is quite nice, the service fast, attentive and efficient yet not overly welcoming or warm. The huge menu had a dim sum section which we focused on today. My favorites were the xiao long bao here, they had quite thick but delicious skin, a drop of soup inside and a nicely spiced farce. My colleague also ordered some fried items like shrimp springrolls and from that I liked the triangle beef curry puffs the most. If you want something (e.g. black vinegar for your dumplings) just ask, they were nice enough to bring us everything (if they had it) and I heard they even do some off menu dishes. Update: Went back today, unfortunately they didn't have off menu dan dan mian but the guotie and chashu baozi where nice.

Wonderful authentic Chinese cuisine. The waitress was very nice and came several times to check up on us. Honest with ingredients. Prices seem high but the portion size makes it worth it. 10/10 would go again!

This place was very good. The interior is beautiful, but it was quiet stuffy. The food was fresh and in big portions!! Very well priced. Will easily go again, especially for the fried rice.

Awesome for dim sum. Otherwise, very hit or miss.

The map is very diverse. Which is not a good sign right now. It is quite cheap and the quality of the dishes varies widely.
